Retirement Plan Specialist

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Retirement Plan Specialist will manage the administration, testing, and reporting of 401(k) plans while providing client support and education on necessary documentation and compliance requirements. Key responsibilities Obtain necessary information from clients to prepare annual reporting and review submitted documents for completeness Utilize administration software to complete 401(k) testing and prepare required government filings, including IRS Form 5500 Educate clients on the administration of their 401(k) plans and maintain proactive communication throughout the reporting process Required qualifications Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (business, finance, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred Basic knowledge of 401(k) plan structure, ROBS, and IRS/DOL regulations is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment Must pass a background check and meet work-from-home requirements
