The company targets arrive-and-drive customers, private parties, and corporate events. In addition to electric karting, K1 Speed centers offer food and beverage options through its onsite Paddock Lounge concept, racing simulators, arcade games, race gear, racing leagues, and championship events.The Accounts Payable (AP) Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor management, and expense handling. This role leads and supports AP Clerks, recommending and implementing policies, procedures, and internal controls to streamline operations and enhance accuracy. The AP Supervisor will collaborate with other departments and outside centers, respond to inquiries, support audits, and assist upper management in shaping and enforcing company policies.What You'll Do:Oversee processing of AP transactions for multiple locationsEnter vendor bills and code to appropriate accounts, cost center, and location for assigned locationsSupervise the timeliness and accuracy of invoice transactions/paymentsWork with vendors to resolve any issuesProcess weekly AP check runs and route to correct individuals for final approvalLead team and projects to support department goals and initiativesDelegate tasks and responsibilities, determine deadlines, and prioritize work to meet changing demands and volumesMentor, develop/train, and evaluate the performance of direct reports, and coordinate regular scheduled performance feedback meetingsCoordinate work-load and work-flow of Accounts Payable teamDevelop and maintain documentation for accounts payable tasks, desk manuals, and training materialsEnsure that procedures are followed and internal controls are maintained within all AP processesAssist with AP duties as necessary and help with invoice entryComplete month-end reports for A/P in a timely mannerManage month-end A/P close and file 1099's for vendorsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience required2 years supervisory experience preferredBachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience preferredNetsuite experience a plusOnsite full time (required)Proficiency with ExcelStrong leadership and team motivation skillsDemonstrates willingness and ability to be a self-starter taking the initiative to solve problemsAbility to work in a fast paced environment and work both independently or in a groupStrong time management, organizational and communication skills, both written and oralAbility to multi-task and work in fast-paced, demanding environmentSalary Range: $78,000 - $88,000 (annualized)Work location: On-site Irvine, CABenefits:Medical, dental, and visionLife & disability insurance401KPaid time off (PTO)Paid holidaysEmployee and family race discount
