Direct Hire Hybrid, 3 days onsite in Chicago (Michigan Ave) Salary: 90K + Great Benefits RECENT MARKETO EXPERIENCE IS VERY IMPORTANT AND REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE. Our association client is seeking a Marketing Manager who is technically skilled (using Marketo), data-driven, and experienced in multichannel marketing campaigns. This role will manage email and newsletter marketing, marketing automation, audience segmentation, campaign testing, performance analysis, and paid digital marketing. The Marketing Manager will serve as a technical owner of Marketo, managing campaign execution, automation, list management, segmentation, templates, and platform hygiene. As a medical association they have multiple audiences and touchpoints: Physician, Student, Advocacy Initiatives, education, etc. Key Responsibilities Design, build, test, and deploy email campaigns and newsletters using Marketo and Stripo. Manage segmentation, personalization, automated nurture campaigns, behavioral triggers, and lifecycle communications. Serve as the technical owner of Marketo, including automation, list management, templates, and platform maintenance. Plan and optimize paid digital campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and display channels. Analyze campaign performance and develop actionable recommendations using campaign data and Power BI. Use CRM/AMS data for audience segmentation, targeting, and personalization. Support member recruitment, retention, onboarding, engagement, and renewal campaigns. Partner with business development teams on lead generation, nurturing, and engagement campaigns. Apply AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to content development, personalization, segmentation, and campaign strategy. Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, automation, templates, and QA. Qualifications 4 years of experience in high-volume, multichannel marketing. Strong hands-on Marketo experience is required as this role must be the SME for all Marketo related initiatives Stripo or equivalent email design experience required. Experience with paid digital advertising, including Google Ads, LinkedIn, and/or Meta. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills; Power BI preferred. Experience with CRM/AMS platforms, segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing. Experience using AI tools for marketing. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field preferred. Healthcare experience is a plus.
