Head of Business Development - Defense

Responsibilities Define and implement a growth strategy for the German defence market Build, nurture, and expand high‑level relationships across government departments, procurement agencies, military stakeholders, and prime contractors. Lead negotiations for large‑scale defence contracts and framework agreements Ensure close coordination with production, R&D, and testing teams to meet customer requirements, including during military trials Represent the organisation at defence exhibitions, industry events, and international forums Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory updates to shape business development strategy Your Experience Proven experience in defence sales and business development Strong understanding of the defence ecosystem and government procurement procedures Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills Demonstrated ability to design and execute strategic growth initiatives, fostering long‑term business partnerships.
