Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This individual will play a key role in the general ledger accounting function, month-end close process, and preparation of financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

\n

• Manage general ledger accounting activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
\n
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
\n
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
\n
• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reporting.
\n
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
\n
• Perform variance analysis and provide explanations for fluctuations in financial results.
\n
• Support internal and external audit requests and assist with year-end reporting.
\n
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiencies.
\n
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
\n
• Strong general ledger accounting and month-end close experience required.
\n
• Experience in public accounting and/or private industry accounting.
\n
• CPA designation preferred, but not required.
\n
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
\n
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
