Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Details Salary: $24 - $28 per hour Shift: First Work Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM Education: High School Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date aging receivables schedules to track outstanding payments and identify accounts that require immediate collection efforts. Perform regular reconciliations of customer accounts against the general ledger to identify and resolve any payment discrepancies or billing errors. Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze financial data, generate weekly status reports, and streamline departmental reporting workflows. Post daily cash receipts, electronic transfers, and credit card payments accurately into the accounting system in accordance with standard internal controls. Apply a understanding of general ledger accounting principles to assist with month‑end closing activities and maintain audit‑ready financial records.
