Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ symptoms related to mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaboratively develop tailored, individualized treatment plans that take into account each client's unique needs, preferences, and personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective interventions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices that promote mental wellness.

• Monitor and document client progress regularly, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive client care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorders to enhance treatment strategies and patient outcomes.

• Maintain confidential and accurate client records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients coping with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
