Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each student and their family, followed by creating individualized treatment plans that align with established best practices.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific needs and preferences of young clients.

• Maintaining comprehensive and timely clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards, ensuring all patient records are confidential and accurate.

• Working collaboratively with educators, school administrators, and other mental health professionals to create a supportive network for those in your care, enhancing the holistic treatment experience.

• Participating in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.

• Providing education to clients and their families about mental health issues and resources available to them, helping to demystify the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents in the school system who face a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional disturbances, and behavioral issues. Building rapport with younger clients and their families is crucial to effective therapy, making your ability to connect and empathize with this demographic essential.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, particularly in providing psychotherapy services within a school or child-focused setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
