Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) – Day Shift | 12‑Hour Shifts Location: Concord, NC Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12‑hour shifts), Full‑Time Pay: $16.00 – $17.50 per hour Position Summary As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide direct care and supervision to clients in treatment, helping maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment. You’ll work closely with clinical staff to support daily programming, ensure client safety, and promote positive recovery outcomes. Schedule & Pay Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12‑hour shifts) Full‑Time Pay: $16.00 – $17.50 per hour Key Responsibilities Assist with client intakes and admissions process Supervise and engage clients throughout treatment programming Monitor and document client self‑administration of medications Maintain accurate and timely documentation Support daily schedules, activities, and group programming Provide client transportation as needed Respond to behavioral or emotional crises with appropriate intervention Maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment Assist with meals and basic client care needs Follow treatment plans and support individualized client goals Uphold professional boundaries and ethical standards Complete required trainings and support team initiatives Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required CPR, AED, and First Aid (or ability to obtain upon hire) Experience Behavioral health, healthcare, or related experience preferred Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stay calm and effective in crisis situations Organized, dependable, and team‑oriented Commitment to client‑centered care and recovery Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Life Insurance Paid Time Off 401(k) with Company Match Tuition Reimbursement Employee Recognition Programs Referral Bonus opportunities And More!
