We're looking for a Startup & Warranty Supervisor to lead one of the most critical functions in our commercial HVAC operation. What You'll Be Doing

As the Startup & Warranty Supervisor, you'll serve as the bridge between project management, field operations, manufacturers, and service technicians to ensure equipment startups and warranty processes are executed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Leadership & Team Development

✅ Lead, mentor, and support startup and warranty technicians

✅ Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance

✅ Conduct technician evaluations and coaching sessions

✅ Coordinate ongoing training opportunities and skill development

✅ Lead monthly technician meetings and safety discussions

Startup & Project Coordination

✅ Collaborate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and Manufacturers to schedule equipment startups

✅ Verify installation readiness and ensure all trade requirements have been completed before startup

✅ Review equipment submittals and startup requirements

✅ Attend project meetings and commissioning discussions

✅ Coordinate resources to ensure projects remain on schedule

Quality, Warranty & Customer Success

✅ Perform site inspections to verify installations meet company quality standards

✅ Ensure safety compliance and best practices are followed

✅ Manage warranty claims and manufacturer communication

✅ Track documentation and warranty requirements

✅ Help resolve field issues quickly and professionally

Operational Support

✅ Work with fleet management regarding vehicle needs

✅ Evaluate tool, equipment, and inventory requirements

✅ Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

✔ Strong background in Commercial HVAC installation, service, startup, or commissioning

✔ Proven leadership experience supervising technicians or field teams

✔ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, plans, and specifications

✔ Understanding of startup procedures, commissioning practices, and warranty processes

✔ Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and energy management systems

✔ Strong communication and organizational skills

✔ Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education

✔ High School Diploma or GED required

✔ Trade School, Technical School, or HVAC Certifications preferred
