NOW HIRING: COMMERCIAL HVAC SERVICE / STARTUP MANAGER – NORTH DALLAS

Commercial HVAC Service Manager + New Construction Startup Manager
North Dallas / DFW Area
Direct Hire • Long-Term Opportunity • Leadership Role

We are working with a strong commercial HVAC contractor in the North Dallas area that is looking to hire an experienced Commercial HVAC Service / Startup Manager .

This is a dual leadership role for someone who understands both sides of the business:

Commercial HVAC service operations and commercial HVAC startup / commissioning for new construction projects.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has been a Commercial HVAC Service Manager, Service Supervisor, Startup Manager, Lead Startup Technician, Senior Commercial HVAC Technician, or Field Leader and is ready for a long-term home with a company that values leadership, accountability, quality work, and strong client relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll help lead and support commercial HVAC service operations while also overseeing startup and commissioning work on commercial new construction projects.

Responsibilities may include:

• Managing and supporting commercial HVAC service technicians
• Helping schedule, prioritize, and troubleshoot service work
• Overseeing new construction HVAC startup and commissioning
• Working with field teams, project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
• Supporting quality control, punch lists, warranty issues, and closeout
• Troubleshooting commercial HVAC systems and helping solve field issues
• Making sure work is completed safely, professionally, and correctly
• Helping build structure, accountability, and strong communication between service and construction teams

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial HVAC experience and the ability to lead people, solve problems, and communicate professionally.

Ideal background includes:

• Strong commercial HVAC service experience
• Experience with startup, commissioning, or new construction HVAC systems
• Prior leadership experience as a Service Manager, Supervisor, Lead Tech, Startup Manager, or Senior Field Technician
• Ability to troubleshoot commercial HVAC systems
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to work with customers, general contractors, project managers, and field teams
• Experience with RTUs, split systems, package units, VRF/VRV, controls coordination, or larger commercial HVAC systems is a plus
• EPA certification preferred
• Stable work history and a strong desire to settle into a long-term leadership role
