Personal Lines Account Manager

Come join our team as a Personal Lines Account Manager We are a growing independent insurance agency serving individuals and families throughout Maine. We are seeking a team oriented professional that loves to provide top notch customer service to join our Brewer office. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day service needs for personal lines clients, including auto, home, umbrella, recreational vehicle, and other personal insurance policies. Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements. Conduct coverage reviews and provide recommendations based on clients’ evolving needs. Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Work closely with insurance carriers to resolve underwriting, billing, and claims-related issues. Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system. Assist with cross-selling and account rounding opportunities. Qualifications Active Maine Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe). Minimum of 2 years of personal lines insurance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of personal insurance products and coverage concepts. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
