This unit supports the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart. Responsibilities: Titrate medication drips such as Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem for blood pressure management. Collaborate with an in-house hospitalist and intensivist, as well as cardiology support on call after hours. Read and interpret telemonitor strips with remote tele tech support. Requirements: Valid license and 1 year of relevant experience with this patient population. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Must pass a 90% pass/fail open book exam during orientation.
