Business Development Associate

Sole Source Capital LLC (“SSC”) is an investment firm located in Dallas, TX, focused on investments in the lower-middle-market within the diversified industrials sector. We are seeking a Business Development Associate who will be a key member of our team, working to source new proprietary investment opportunities. This position will be seated in office at the Old Parkland Dallas location. You will participate in all aspects of the business development process including industry / market research, deal origination and qualification, and relationship building with acquisition target executives. The right candidate will have expansive knowledge and interest in a variety of businesses and industries, as well as an intricate understanding of business fundamentals. In this role, you will be responsible for researching, identifying, and contacting industry specific companies that fit SSC’s investment criteria. Responsibilities Identify strategic opportunities for add-ons to existing portfolio companies Contact target executives and be able to comfortably articulate the SSC story Develop relationships with key target partners / executives Track correspondence and target opportunities in SSC’s CRM system General data management Qualifications Interest in business development and working within private equity Fluency in Microsoft Office suite Excellent organization and time management skills Able to function effectively as a team member and work independently Compensation and Benefits Competitive and commensurate with experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
