Regional Account Manager

ErectaStep is seeking a high-performing Regional Account Manager / Channel Sales Manager to drive revenue growth through our distributor network across Eastern PA, Eastern NY, New Jersey, and Delaware . In this role, you will own the regional sales strategy, manage and enable existing industrial distributors, and identify new channel partners to expand our footprint in modular stairs, maintenance platforms, and industrial safety compliance solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Territory Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a regional business plan to achieve and exceed sales goals across Eastern PA, Eastern NY, NJ, and DE.
\n
• Distributor Enablement & Channel Management: Target, onboard, and manage strategic industrial distributors. Train distributor sales forces on ErectaStep product features, compliance benefits (OSHA/IBC), and digital configurator software.
\n
• Co-Selling & End-User Engagement: Partner closely with distributor sales reps in the field to provide product expertise directly to end-users, delivering product demonstrations (including utilizing a mobile demonstration truck).
\n
• Market Intelligence & Lead Generation: Track competitor activity, follow industry trends, and investigate cross-functional sales leads to capture new business development opportunities.

• Relationship Building: Maintain regular touchpoints with distributor leadership and branch managers to ensure brand loyalty and high client satisfaction.
\n
• Reporting: Provide pipeline updates, market feedback, and competitive analysis to the National Sales Manager.

Requirements & Qualifications:

\n

\n
• Experience: 5+ years of successful B2B Industrial Sales experience, specifically selling through distributors, industrial supply houses, or a distribution channel (e.g., Material Handling, Safety Infrastructure, Construction Equipment, or Industrial Automation).
\n
• Channel Mastery: Proven track record of managing a multi-state territory, enabling distributor reps, and meeting/exceeding revenue quotas.
\n
• Technical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined; ability to master product configurator software and confidently explain technical specifications to end-users and general contractors.
\n
• Travel: Ability to travel overnight 50%+ across the assigned territory.
\n
• Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving a product demonstration vehicle.
\n
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related technical field is preferred but equivalent field experience will be considered.
