Workers Compensation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Workers Compensation Attorney to join their team in Nashville, Tennessee. The attorney will manage a complex caseload from pre-litigation through trial, supporting the firm's mission to advocate for clients in workers compensation matters. Duties Handle cases from pre-litigation to litigation. Manage pre-suit processes and assist senior attorneys post-suit. Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings and motions. Guide clients through the legal process. Interact with expert witnesses and draft reports and affidavits. Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Requirements Law degree from an accredited law school. Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association. Minimum of 2 years of workers compensation experience. Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus. Ability to manage a high volume of cases. Excellent client service and communication skills. Self-starter with long-term career goals. Superior writing and oral advocacy skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications State Bar Association membership. Skills Case management. Legal drafting and filing.
