(Senior) Sales Manager Europe, Engineering Services

Your mission As a (Senior) Sales Manager Europe at COMPREDICT, you will drive adoption of our virtual sensor technology and related engineering services among automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across Europe. You will sell a combination of tailored engineering engagements and software licenses - from off-the-shelf virtual sensor models to custom model development and integration - playing a pivotal role in expanding our presence in automotive and adjacent industries. Your Responsibilities Include: Develop and execute a sales strategy for COMPREDICT's virtual sensor solutions in the automotive market, with a focus on revenue targets and account penetration. Lead complex, consultative sales cycles that combine product licensing with scoped engineering engagements - from initial technical discovery through statement-of-work definition, commercial negotiation, and contract closure. Leverage our existing contacts in OEMs and Tier 1s and further build relationships with R&D, engineering procurement, and vehicle program decision-makers. Market Expansion and Development: Identify new growth opportunities to expand COMPREDICT's footprint, including engagements that start as scoped engineering projects and evolve into software solution sales. Collaborate with internal stakeholders - the CEO, CRO, Product, Engineering delivery, and Marketing teams - to develop value propositions and go-to-market strategies, including services packaging and delivery scoping. Represent COMPREDICT at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to increase brand visibility and drive business opportunities. Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for European clients across both product and engineering-services engagements, ensuring smooth delivery handoffs and exceptional customer satisfaction. Actively engage with clients - R&D, engineering, and procurement stakeholders - to scope evolving needs, gather feedback, and advocate for product enhancements as necessary. Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities by moving clients from a single engineering engagement toward broader Virtual Sensor solution adoption, and identifying additional use cases within existing accounts. Your profile You're passionate about driving sales excellence and shaping the future of mobility. You bring: Required: experience selling professional services or engineering services (e.g., CAE/simulation, testing and validation, R&D consulting, or engineering staffing) to automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers 5+ years of sales experience; comfortable navigating both project-based, statement-of-work sales and software/subscription sales Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical engineering concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences A proven track record structuring and closing complex, consultative deals - RFQs/RFPs, custom scoping, and multi-year framework agreements - with enterprise automotive clients An existing network among automotive decision-makers and engineering teams is a strong plus A self-motivated, results-driven mindset, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment A bachelor's degree, preferably a master's, in business or engineering Fluency in German and English A valid work permit for Germany/the EU Why us?
