Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Proposal Manager to be on-site at one of our corporate offices, preferably in Oak Ridge, TN; Tempe, AZ; or Albuquerque, NM. Remote work will be considered for highly qualified candidates. Who brings a proven track record of leading winning federal proposals, ideally in the nuclear, environmental, construction, or industrial markets, to join our Strategic Proposal Center and lead proposals across our network of companies. The Work You'll Be Responsible For: Proposal Planning and Management Strategy and Compliance Communication and Collaboration with the proposal team and Quality Assurance and Reviews Proposal Submission The Ideal Candidate: Will be in the Proposal Management team who supports similar company with similar projects and scope of work. (Construction, environmental, ext.) Will be comfortable with operating in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and may occasionally require extended hours or weekend work during peak proposal periods. Has a strong understanding of federal government contracting and the federal government's procurement lifecycle Excels at managing the proposal process and writing compelling narrative Has a basic understanding of cost and pricing methodologies Is motivated to be a part of a rapidly changing and growing environment Is self‑motivated and comfortable working independently to lead pursuits or being a team member and proposal contributor What You'll Need To Have; Bachelor's degree in related field Minimum of 10 years of experience working with a Proposal Centers; Proposal experience with the federal government procurement process and managing large, complex proposals for the federal government and or state agencies. Solid understanding of federal RFP structures and compliance requirements Experience using proposal management and collaboration tools Intermediate to advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional Must be willing and able to travel To Be Successful You'll Also Need; Critical thinking skills with ability to read, understand, and communicate technical requirements Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leaders, capture managers, subject matter experts, proposal support teams, and teaming partners/subcontractors Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in grammar, punctuation, and spelling Skilled in managing multiple assignments with varying degrees of complexity and competing deadlines Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Has an ownership mentality and is accountable for compliance Interpret and manage government solicitation requirements Adaptability to changing priorities Ideally You’ll Have; Certification or training in Shipley process, APMP, - , or other relevant organization is highly desired EEO Statement AIS Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
