In this pivotal role, you’ll be the driving force behind our supply chain efficiency, working collaboratively with your team to examine, streamline, and elevate our materials management processes. Key Responsibilities Champion the mission, vision, and values of our Center while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Maintain optimal levels of perioperative consignment inventory and keep an eagle eye on outdated and overstocked materials to enhance service delivery. Coordinate with clinical departments and the Business Office to ensure a steady supply of materials, while observing the surgical schedule for necessary supplies and equipment. Analyze inventory data to boost efficiency and reduce waste, while developing robust supply chain procedures. Provide timely responses to all customer needs—from physicians to vendor representatives—ensuring urgent requests are met without a hitch. Manage vendor access, organize in-service programs, and implement cost-containment strategies to keep our budget in check while driving value. Oversee order records, verify shipping quantities, and approve vendor invoices—all while keeping a meticulous track of equipment loans and returns. Collaborate in fiscal management and assist in contract compliance to negotiate the best pricing for materials and equipment. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and levels of management. Proficient with inventory systems and Microsoft Office Suite, with a knack for analyzing data and making improvements. The flexibility to adapt to changing clinical priorities and patient needs. Qualifications Bachelors’ degree in related field, preferred. Five (5) years of experience in materials and supply chain field, preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical supplies.
