Accounts Payable Manager

Overview A growing alternative investment platform is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead and optimize its end-to-end AP function across both the management company and affiliated investment vehicles. This is a high-impact role within a fast-paced financial services environment, offering direct exposure to senior finance leadership and the opportunity to drive operational efficiency across a multi-entity structure. The Opportunity This role sits at the core of the finance function, with ownership over the full accounts payable lifecycle and a mandate to enhance processes, controls, and scalability. This role is 5 days in office* Key areas of responsibility include: Overseeing the full AP function across multiple entities, including funds and corporate operations Managing invoice intake, vendor onboarding (including W-9 compliance), approvals, and vendor communications Executing weekly payment runs (ACH and wires) and ensuring accuracy and timeliness Handling employee expense management, including travel and corporate card reconciliations Ensuring proper expense allocation across funds, subsidiaries, and legal entities You will also play a key role in financial reporting and controls: Supporting month-end close, including reconciliations, accruals, and prepaids Producing reporting and analysis for senior leadership Managing 1099 reporting and audit support Overseeing intercompany allocations, chargebacks, and fund-related invoicing A major component of this role is process improvement and automation, including: Enhancing AP workflows, policies, and internal controls Identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions Partnering cross-functionally on system and process improvements Who They’re Looking For 5 - 15 years of accounts payable experience, ideally within financial services, asset management, or a multi-entity environment Strong understanding of AP operations, controls, and reporting within complex organizational structures Experience with AP and expense management systems (e.g., Bill.com, Stampli, or similar platforms) Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting or related field preferred) Ability to operate autonomously while partnering closely with senior finance leadership Detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset and strong organizational skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Atlantic Group
