AR Specialist

About the Role To be considered a qualified candidate, you must have knowledge of CPT surgical coding and ICD10 diagnostic coding. What You’ll Be Doing Review all clinical documentation to code and post-surgery charges and hospital charges for insurance billing. Assist with CPT and ICD 10 coding. Maintain open communication lines with Team Lead and Supervisor. Maintain all patient information in compliance with the established patient confidentiality policy. Maintain compliance with all governmental and regulatory requirements. Complete all mandated training and in‑services in a timely manner, including annual OSHA training and PPD placements. Work with Accounts Receivable (AR) for assigned providers. Review assigned provider surgical schedules. Perform all other duties as assigned. What We Expect from You High School Graduate or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years related coding or medical billing experience. CPC certification preferred. Reasoning ability: solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagrammatic form. Computer skills: thorough knowledge in computer information systems. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
