Qualifications

1. High School diploma 2. Proficient in Microsoft and/or Google Applications preferred 3. Office secretarial experience preferred

Job Goal

To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the school office so that the office's maximum positive impact on the education of students can be realized.

Performance Responsibilities

• Greets all visitors.
• Maintains a log of visitors to the school.
• Performs usual office routines.
• Maintains student records as required.
• Enters daily attendance and makes updates for individual students, as necessary.
• Utilizes the Student Management System (Infinite Campus) for student enrollment, etc.
• Prints and distributes report cards.
• Receives and routes all incoming calls.
• Utilizes computers, calculators, copiers, and facsimile machines.
• Completes Principal correspondence, as needed.
• Completes end-of-year teacher checklist.
• Records fire/severe weather drills.
• Maintains all copiers/supplies.
• Makes announcements/ring bells as needed.
• Dispenses and logs student medications or student First Aid in the absence of School Nurse.
• Assists students with any needs that arise.
• Sorts daily mail.
• Completes other duties as assigned.

Terms of Employment

205 days, 37.5 hours per week
