An exciting opportunity is now available for a dedicated Physical Therapist seeking a part-time contract role in a school-based setting near Arlington Heights, IL. This position focuses primarily on supporting elementary students and is ideal for therapists looking for flexibility and the chance to make a real impact in young learners’ lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Illinois
• Previous experience or strong interest in working within a school environment, especially with elementary-aged children
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Comfort with short-term assignments and openness to contract extensions
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs and district requirements
• Partner with teachers and staff to develop student-centered interventions and support plans
• Document and monitor student progress, maintaining compliance with school guidelines
• Communicate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise on student mobility and physical access
• Manage a varied caseload with professionalism and empathy
