Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Physical Therapists seeking contract work in an educational setting! A part-time position is currently open for a licensed PT to support elementary students in a local school community. This flexible assignment offers a choice of working two or three days per week, perfectly suited for those who prefer a balanced schedule. The position is scheduled for the fall semester with the possibility of extending through the second semester, providing both immediate engagement and future flexibility.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist license in Illinois
• Experience working with school-aged or pediatric populations preferred
• Comfortable with short-term, contract assignments
• Strong communication skills and adaptability
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct PT services to elementary students according to IEP requirements
• Assess, document, and report on student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and support teams to integrate therapy goals within the school environment
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Provide expert insight on mobility, access, and adaptive equipment within the school
• Maintain detailed records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
