Physician, Sports Podiatry (Sacramento, CA) Description Opportunity Information Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Board Certified/Board Eligible Sports Podiatrist to join our growing Orthopedics and Sports Medicine program in Sacramento, CA. This is a unique opportunity to be part of Sutter Health's flagship Orthopedics and Sports Medicine destination center, a 120,000-square-foot, four-story facility designed to provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care for athletes and active individuals throughout Northern California. The center will serve patients ranging from youth and high school athletes to collegiate, professional, and recreational athletes while delivering a seamless, multidisciplinary patient experience. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care with a focus on sports-related injuries, overuse conditions, fracture management, return-to-play evaluations, biomechanics, and performance optimization. The position offers close collaboration with orthopedic sports medicine surgeons, foot and ankle surgeons, primary care sports medicine physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and advanced practice providers. This role presents an exciting opportunity to help build a premier sports medicine destination while participating in community outreach, athlete education, and program development initiatives.
