About the Role:

We are looking for a friendly  and organized Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice in Pomona, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated medical team where your administrative skills and patient-first attitude will make a real difference every day.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records and electronic health records (EHR)
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments
• Ensure front desk area is organized, clean, and running efficiently

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a medical office setting preferred
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical insurance, co-pays, and prior authorizations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Bilingual in English and Spanish 
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification required 
• Medical Assistant Diploma
