Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess the intensity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients through comprehensive evaluations.

• Collaboratively develop customized treatment plans that reflect clients' individual needs, goals, and preferences, ensuring their active participation in their healing journey.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting approaches as the client's needs evolve.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment modalities, and effective self-care techniques to promote lifelong wellness.

• Monitor client progress and regularly review treatment plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize care and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration by coordinating care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals for a holistic approach to treatment.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance and diversify therapeutic strategies.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records, ensuring full compliance with legal and ethical guidelines governing client care.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, addressing stigma, and ensuring they receive the support and resources necessary for their recovery.

This role specifically targets clients struggling with mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, including vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence.
