Accounting Consultant

The organization is an advisory firm providing M&A, divestiture, private equity services, interim management, and restructuring support to clients ranging from large corporates to middle market and emerging companies. The firm is backed by private equity and has grown both organically and through acquisitions, and recently brought in senior leadership to build out its financial due diligence practice as part of a broader push to grow the team nationally. This role sits within that growing FDD practice rather than being scoped to one narrow day-to-day function. Role A transaction advisory / financial due diligence professional supporting buy-side and sell-side engagements, post-close integration, and operational improvement work across the firm's platform and add-on acquisition deals. Responsibilities Drive post-close integration and operational improvement for platform and add-on acquisitions. Support buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements — financial and commercial due diligence, and accounting advisory for IPOs, carve-outs, restructuring, and similar transactions — for large corporates, middle market and emerging companies, and private equity investors. Analyze target company data to identify historical and projected financial/operational trends, quality of earnings, working capital, and risks affecting valuation and deal terms; build tailored advisory deliverables covering valuation model inputs, normalized earnings, budget achievability, indebtedness, borrowing base calculations, and carve-out financials. Interact directly with senior executives at clients, target companies, and the firm. Track marketplace trends — economic, social, cultural, technological — to identify opportunities and shape value propositions. Additional Information #J-18808-Ljbffr
