IT Support Technician

Are you a hands-on IT Support Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume help desk environment and enjoys solving problems for the people who keep the business running? This contract-to-hire opportunity puts you on a close-knit team, where you'll troubleshoot hardware, software, and account issues, manage users in Active Directory and Entra ID, and support everything from workstations to point-of-sale systems. Job Type: Contract-to-hire Location: Agoura Hills, CA (Hybrid) Compensation: This job is expected to be paid about $27-$29/Hr No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role What You'll Do: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users through a queued ticketing system, both hands-on and remotely. Create and manage user accounts, mailboxes, password resets, group memberships in Active Directory and Entra ID. Imagine, configure, and deploy new workstations and laptops, and install and upgrade software, peripherals, printers, and point-of-sale terminals. Perform preventative maintenance and coordinate warranty repairs with approved vendors and partners. Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the knowledge base to help the team resolve future issues faster. What Gets You the Job: 2+ years of IT help desk or service desk experience in a high-volume, queued ticketing environment, with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. Hands-on experience with Active Directory, group policy, and Entra ID, including account creation and password resets, plus Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office support. Working knowledge of basic networking, desktops, laptops, printers, wireless access points, and point-of-sale terminals, with retail or restaurant IT experience a plus. A positive, high-energy, customer-service mindset with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and work well on a close-knit team.
