Our Presales PMs bring together the innovative communications solutions that make a difference in the moments that matter.Job DescriptionThe Strategic Presales Business Manager (EPS) provides total presales solution ownership as the overall presale team business leader and manages the overall project business for his/her assigned projects. In this role, Pre-sale PM holds accountability for: Responsibilities: Development of the implementation approach and service plan necessary to win the projectMeet/exceeding customer requirements and provide value alternatives when requirements cannot be metManage to Motorola’s sales, revenue and margin goalsDrive all sole source & RFP (Request for Proposal) projects to completion managing the schedules of each project team member (engineering, proposal specialist, sales, and service)Coordinate with the various functional teams (Systems Integration, Service, Sales, Product Groups) to ensure all of business units goals are addressed in our proposals and win-strategiesDevelop overall implementation approach, service strategy and proposal planManage the development and implementation of the entire presale process focused on delivering accurate and timely proposalsIssue RFQs (Request for Quote) for third-party content and negotiate for best cost-benefit to Motorola SolutionsDevelop and Drive consistent Systems Integration & Services strategy for all proposalsManage cross-functional teams and monitor progress of all proposal Integral participant of the Core Team proposal review, responsible for reviewing the proposal cover-to-coverParticipate in Contract negotiations as subject matter & proposal expertsDevelop and Implement the show pricing plan with SalesQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, project management, business operations, military and/or public safety OR 8+ years of experience in sales, sales engineering, project management, business operations, military and/or public safety Excellent communication skills; both verbal and writtenComfortable presenting to internal and external audiencesTake ownership of projects to drive multiple people to meet project deadlinesAbility to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersWillingness to think out of the box and challenge the status quoAttention to detail and a flawless execution mindsetLocation/Travel:Preferred candidates will reside in Texas, California, Illinois, or ColoradoTravel: Up to 25% for business needs Target Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity.
