Senior Staff Accountant

Responsibilities of this hybrid Sr Staff Accountant include:

• Manage fixed asset tracking and produce supporting schedules and reports
  
  
• Review and validate financial information through detailed spreadsheet analyses
  
  
• Complete account reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts
  
  
• Prepare and record journal entries to support the monthly close process
  
  
• Upload and maintain monthly financial data within the company's consolidation platform
  
  
• Generate intercompany billing and oversee related collections activity
  
  
• Ensure accuracy of payables by performing 3-way match
  
  
• Process expense reimbursements
  
  
• Facilitate check runs and wire transfers
  
  
• Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation
  
  
• Provide external audits assistance
  
  
• Help prepare annual budgets and forecasting
  
  
• Tax filings, including recurring sales/use tax and annual property tax reports
  
  

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  
  
• 3+ years of experience in accounting preferably within biotech or life science industries
  
  
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft 365 applications, with an emphasis on Excel, as well as experience using JD Edwards
  
  
• Accurate and attentive to detail
  
  
• Organized and effective time management skills
  
  
• Capable of working autonomously while consistently meeting deadlines
  
  
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams
  
  
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-oriented skills
