About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's team in the financial sector. In this role, you will contribute to serving as a liaison between the member and the credit union, providing account information, opening new accounts, and handling daily credit union needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner.
• Respond to member requests, concerns, and questions in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist members with their plastic card related issues, including mailing cards if necessary.
• Open new accounts and service existing accounts, setting up new account files and providing members with all necessary information for membership.
• Promote credit union products and services based on member's needs.
• Perform account maintenance on member accounts when requested, with proper documentation/authorization.
• May perform teller duties as a Backup Teller, including receiving checks and cash for deposit and verifying amounts.
• Ensure propriety and confidentiality of members' information.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures, rules, and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Controls.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of customer/member service experience with a credit union or bank.
• Previous cash handling experience with a credit union and/or bank.
• Ability to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to speak and write clearly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Client/DNA core experience is a plus.
