Details Float Pool role covering various Med/Surg units as needed, including Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICU (if applicable) Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week Every other weekend and every other holiday required No on-call responsibilities 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) Minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience ASN required, BSN preferred Level 1 Trauma experience required Epic EMR charting experience required Additional Information Deliver direct nursing care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across various patient populations Conduct and document patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, care plans, and evaluations Precept staff from various units as needed Complete Unit Nurse Leader Training as needed Report and correct safety hazards and incidents to ensure patient and employee safety Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position RTO not to exceed 7 total days within the 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-738289.
