We perform extensive fundraising advisory services and complete due diligence activities while working closely with the project management and distribution teams to advance projects, gather necessary information, convey relevant investor updates and present findings to clients.Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:Take ownership of deal admin related tasks, such as maintaining deal trackers, scheduling investor calls, and updating SalesforceProvide advice to clients on fundraising strategy, structuring, timing, investors, and legal termsAssist in the development, production and delivery of proposals and presentations to clients and prospectsActively participate in client meetings and internal discussionsAnticipate potential deal issues and pass concerns through to team members in real timeEvaluate prospective fundraising clientsPartner with global coverage teamsDemonstrate curiosity and understanding of the various private market strategiesDemonstrate an understanding of broader fundraising markets and potential implications to each client processManage client data roomsIdentify improvements to processes and propose solutions to complete tasks more efficientlyMentor summer interns and invest in teaching subsequent classes of analysts, imparting best practicesEnsure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and proceduresAdditional responsibilities as requestedQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree required with an anticipated graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027Internship or prior work experience in financial services industry preferredProven track record in university studies requiredSIE Exam, prior to beginning employment, and Series 7 and Series 63 within 90 days of employmentDetail oriented with strong analytical abilitiesExcellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skillsCritical thinking with problem-solving skillsAbility to adapt to new tasks with little noticeAbility to manage expectations of senior bankers while working on multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective leadership and coaching skillsStrong desire to winSound judgementDeep, sophisticated understanding of accounting and financeCommitment to satisfying internal and external customersWilliam Blair is not currently hiring individuals for this position who now or in the future require sponsorship for employment visa status.
