Role SnapshotSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.Pay: Starts at $23/hrBenefits after hire: 401(k) + company match, profit sharing, medical/vision/dental, up to 3 weeks PTO in year oneWorkplace: Portland-based, locally owned business communications leader with a team-first, structured, family-like culture and strong growth pathsWhat you’ll doOperate multiple high-speed digital printers (Canon, Konica Minolta, and others) concurrently across several jobsMeet production targets and deadlines without compromising qualityOffload printed materials and stage on cutters, preserving exact orderAdjust equipment settings to maintain peak output and color consistencyReport mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel immediatelyHandle full set-up, operation, and routine maintenance for assigned equipmentApply LEAN manufacturing practices in daily workPrepare print-ready files and make minor design/formatting tweaks for professional outputMaintain brand consistency across all pieces producedCoordinate priorities and schedules with customer service and production teamsAssist the Design Specialist with template edits/formatting using Adobe Creative SuiteWhat you bring2+ years recent experience in commercial or industrial print production/services6+ months running high-speed equipment (Canon/OCE, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, Kyocera)Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently and stay on your feet—standing, moving, bending, sitting, walking—for the entire shiftBasic computer proficiencyExcellent attendance and a steady work history over the past yearHands-on Adobe Creative Suite experience (InDesign and Illustrator)Background in variable data printing or mailingKnowledge of color calibration and/or finishing equipment (bindery, cutters, etc.)Proficiencies we valueMachine setups for production runsDigital printingInkjet printingTechnology you’ll touchLarge format gear: Canon imagePROGRAF; Ricoh flatbed printerFlexographic printing pressWhy this team?You’ll join a trusted Portland operation that rewards reliability and structure with excellent benefits and real advancement opportunities.
