Position: Sourcing Coordinator, Indirect (Indirect), reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, Indirect. Employment type: Full‑time, Exempt. Location: Long Beach, California. Responsibilities Assist the facilities manager(s) in all aspects of project implementation as needed. Create and participate in meetings and presentations with executive leadership. Provide campus‑wide reporting on departmental spend, ticketing, and other metrics as requested. Maintain contracts for facilities services such as elevators, cranes, waste and recycling, pest control, landscaping, and other repair services. Obtain multiple bids from competing contractors by creating scopes of work. Perform job walk‑downs with vendors, engineers, supervisors, and managers. Work with the purchasing department to ensure vendors are approved, vetted, and insured. Assist with badges, International Traffic Arms Regulations (ITAR) and non‑disclosure agreement (NDA) requirements, and safety training. Create request for payments and assist buyers with vendor selection. Ensure purchase orders are accurate with no cost overruns. Coordinate to meet with the Vast end user and establish the scope of work. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another engineering discipline. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with facilities within an aerospace industry. Familiarity with space planning procedures and operations. Knowledge of computer applications and ability to navigate different software programs. Experience creating and updating request for proposals (RFPs), purchase orders (POs), and facilities work orders in an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to make independent judgments with limited information. Communication skills for relaying data verbally and in‑writing between other employees, vendors, and customers. Logical and strategic approach to solving problems. Ability to read and understand basic floor plans. Comfortable working in a high‑stress environment, balancing several projects simultaneously, and flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic direction. Additional Requirements Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Willingness to work overtime or weekends to support critical mission milestones. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted. Specific certifications, as appropriate. Pay Range: $22.50 – $32 USD.
