Assistant Project Manager

Upper Marlboro, MD client seeks an Assistant Project Manager with a background in commercial construction for an on-site fire station renovation project. The role supports the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, subcontractor communication, documentation, and day-to-day project administration to help ensure safety, on-time completion, and budget adherence. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and looking to grow in commercial construction management. This is a Contract to Possible Permanent position that will require being fully on-site in Arlington, VA. Salary: $50,000–$70,000 (Depending on Experience) Full demolition and renovation of an existing fire station Approximately 12-month project duration Project scheduled to begin within the next few weeks Qualifications Minimum 2–5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or similar construction role Commercial construction experience required; renovation experience preferred Experience assisting with project schedules, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar construction management software is a plus Ability to work closely with field personnel, subcontractors, and clients in a fast-paced construction environment #J-18808-Ljbffr TechniPower, Inc.
