Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility in West Palm Beach, where you will collaborate with a team of passionate professionals. The onsite environment facilitates direct patient interaction and teamwork, ensuring you can provide optimal care to your patients. Your typical workweek will run Monday to Friday, comprising a 40-hour shift, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical health and mobility issues, determining appropriate treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized treatment programs across various specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Deliver high-quality care while demonstrating excellent customer service, thereby enhancing patient satisfaction and engagement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to use evidence-based practices for optimal patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to best practice guidelines.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers about their conditions, treatment options, and rehabilitation techniques necessary for recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with the physician's plan of care.
• Achieve minimum utilization and performance goals established by the organization while contributing to overall business objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with diverse patient populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric individuals, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will help patients regain functionality and improve their physical abilities, aiding them in their journey from injury to recovery. Working in partnership with athletes, children, and elderly patients alike, you will apply specialized knowledge to address a variety of conditions and challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program is required.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills to maintain patient records and treatment documentation.
• A strong desire to build lasting relationships with patients, colleagues, and community stakeholders.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and connect positively with individuals.

Preferred Experience

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• State licensed as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current CPR certification is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
