Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Physical Therapy, you will be responsible for:

• Creating individualized treatment plans that adhere to best practices and promote patient progress in regaining function and alleviating pain.
• Overseeing physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to prescribed treatment protocols and optimal patient care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, including muscle strength, joint mobility, and functional capabilities.
• Assessing patients' home environments to make informed recommendations aimed at improving comfort and independence.
• Administering therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, and providing education on home exercise programs.
• Monitoring patients' progress and modifying treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and input from the interdisciplinary team.
• Documenting care accurately, including progress notes, clinical evaluations, and care plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational policies.
• Engaging in case conferences and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to align patient goals and ensure comprehensive treatment.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting.
• Current CPR certification and a valid driver's license with appropriate insurance.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
