Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that address each patient's unique goals and needs.
• Provide individualized physical therapy sessions that may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to optimize outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, ensuring that patients receive the most effective care possible.
• Encourage patients during their rehabilitation journey, helping them overcome challenges and celebrate achievements.
• Create and lead specialized fitness and wellness programs that cater to various physical conditions and enhance patient recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical patients, and those with chronic pain conditions. Your focus will be on helping these patients regain functional mobility and return to their activities of daily living while emphasizing non-surgical treatment options to alleviate discomfort and promote recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida is a prerequisite before commencing your duties.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic physical therapy techniques and prior experience in outpatient settings is preferred.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, especially WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a rehabilitation center or outpatient clinic, particularly in a sports medicine context.
• A solid history of successfully managing a diverse patient load while maintaining high standards of care.
• Experience in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Life PT offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and expertise.
