Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients in regaining mobility and improving physical function through individualized therapy plans.
• Conduct thorough assessments to establish patient needs, goals, and the most appropriate treatment strategies.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and advanced techniques, including trigger point therapy, to treat various musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements including HIPAA, Medicare regulations, and billing protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of treatment sessions and progress reports to facilitate ongoing care.
• Forge strong communication channels with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure well-rounded support.
• Provide education and resources to patients and caregivers on injury prevention, rehabilitation options, and healthy lifestyle choices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions. You will be expected to have a particular focus on tailoring treatment plans for pediatric patients, requiring a compassionate demeanor and the ability to engage with children effectively. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through carefully structured rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Physical Therapist License is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a Master's or Doctorate being preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Proficiency in trigger point therapy and a strong foundational knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with pediatric patients.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation facility will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
