Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document patient conditions upon referral, using thorough assessments to inform treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment programs for patients while regularly reassessing their progress and adjusting plans as needed.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions, utilizing best practices in evidence-based care to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Utilize techniques like manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities effectively to facilitate functional movement and enhance recovery.
• Educate and guide patients and their caregivers on home programming, exercises, and lifestyle modifications that support recovery and prevent re-injury.
• Contribute to the clinic's operational goals through effective communication and teamwork, ensuring the highest standard of customer service.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Allied Care Solution, you will treat a diverse patient population, including orthopedic, neurological, pediatric, and sports medicine cases. Your role will be critical in supporting patients through various stages of injury recovery, optimizing their rehabilitation experience, and fostering independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• A current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form successful relationships with patients and their families.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and capable of handling documentation and reporting in electronic formats.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to educate patients and coordinate with healthcare teams.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience with community outreach and building relationships within the healthcare system is a plus.
• Current CPR certification should be maintained.

Compensation and Benefits
