Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1-to-1 patient care that addresses individual rehabilitation needs, utilizing advanced therapeutic techniques.
• Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including clinical services, assessments, and correspondence with healthcare team members, while adhering to HIPAA, Medicare guidelines, and billing practices.
• Engage effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they understand care plans and empowering them to participate in their recovery journey.
• Continuously assess and adapt treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback, demonstrating comprehensive clinical knowledge in physical therapy.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and collaborate on innovative care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus for this role includes working with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric clients to adults recovering from surgery, injury, or chronic conditions. Your expertise will be critical in developing specialized treatment plans that cater to the distinct challenges faced by each demographic, ensuring that we meet the varied needs of our community effectively.

Qualifications

• A valid Florida Physical Therapist (PT) License is mandatory.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or rehabilitation setting is essential.
• Proven proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques and a strong foundation in human anatomy and physiology.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have experience working with pediatric populations and possess additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques. Familiarity with software systems used in rehabilitation documentation and billing is also advantageous.
