Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy care by assessing and identifying each patient's unique goals, limitations, and treatment needs.
• Maintain a reasonable caseload to ensure that each patient receives focused, high-quality care, dedicating adequate time for thorough assessments and treatment sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to develop effective treatment plans that may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, and neuromuscular re-education.
• Utilize cost-effective therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' movement capabilities while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Create dynamic exercise programs that reflect current clinical practice guidelines and promote functional improvement.
• Employ advanced EMR software, particularly WebPT, for accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans as necessary based on ongoing patient assessments.
• Encourage and motivate patients, providing support, guidance, and education throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Foster a culture of teamwork by collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and enhance care coordination.
• Maintain comprehensive records that ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation facility serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. You will play a vital role in addressing the needs of these patients by providing tailored treatment plans and interventions that focus on their unique challenges and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida, with a clean record free of sanctions and disputes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of manual therapy techniques and knowledge of contemporary physical therapy practices backed by research evidence.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement successful therapeutic exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in using EMR software, particularly WebPT, for meticulous documentation of patient interactions and progress.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, preferably in an outpatient or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience in developing multidisciplinary treatment plans that involve collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
