Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions, using effective treatment modalities to promote recovery in a rehabilitation setting.
• Establish individualized treatment plans that incorporate various techniques including therapeutic exercises, stretching maneuvers, and hands-on therapy to enhance patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking treatments and responses to therapy in compliance with facility standards and healthcare regulations.
• Regularly reevaluate and adjust therapeutic goals and treatment plans, ensuring optimal patient outcomes based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Recommend and fit patients for assistive devices that aid in self-care and mobility, providing education to patients and families on their use.
• Train patients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals on proper physical therapy techniques and the use of assistive modalities, ensuring a comprehensive approach to recovery.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development opportunities, keeping current with industry trends and best practices to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors with varying needs. Our therapy programs are designed to address a broad spectrum of conditions, from sports injuries to postoperative rehabilitation. Your role will be critical in guiding patients on their journey to recovery, focusing not just on physical healing, but also on building confidence and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, alongside proficiency in word processing and other computer applications.
• Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting is required.
• Prior experience in home care or outpatient rehabilitation settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
