Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations for pediatric patients to assess their needs and challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that detail specific goals and therapeutic techniques tailored to each child's condition.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the Company's electronic health record system, completing all required documentation such as SOAP notes and progress summaries in a timely manner.
• Regularly reassess patients to evaluate the effectiveness of therapies, adjusting treatment plans and goals based on clinical findings and patient feedback.
• Educate children and their families about the recovery process, providing them with support and guidance through each step of their journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within our center to provide comprehensive care for clients receiving multiple therapies.
• Champion the values and culture of TheraPlay, actively engaging in a positive work environment and promoting client and community engagement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with children, ranging from infants to adolescents, who may present with various conditions, including congenital disorders, developmental delays, and neurological impairments. Your role will be vital in helping these young patients enhance their mobility, strength, and overall physical function, enabling them to participate fully in everyday activities and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and unrestricted licensure to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Florida, issued by the Board of Physical Therapy.
• Willingness to conduct evaluations and treatment both in-person and via telehealth where appropriate and clinically justified.
• A strong desire and adaptability to work with a diverse patient population across various demographics.
• A collaborative and agile mindset, ready to contribute positively to our dynamic team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working specifically with children in a pediatric clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits
