Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for clients, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique needs.

• Provide high-quality, bilingual psychotherapy services (Spanish and English) to diverse clients, focusing on family dynamics and individual therapy.
\n
• Facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, promoting healthy communication and conflict resolution.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that align with clients' goals.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records utilizing electronic health record (EHR) software in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in continuous learning to enhance therapeutic skills, including participation in training related to short-term individual and group therapies.

• Schedule and manage client appointments efficiently, ensuring consistent attendance and client engagement.
\n
• Provide client-focused services during evening hours and occasional weekends to accommodate client schedules.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will primarily work with a diverse client base, including children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Our clientele often includes individuals from varied cultural backgrounds, thus requiring the therapist to be respectful and sensitive to the specific needs and customs of each family unit.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage, and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited program.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Two or more years of experience in a mental health setting, working with a broad range of clients including families and children.
\n
• Strong verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on bilingual capabilities in Spanish and English.
\n
• Familiarity with evidenced-based therapy methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds and to embrace multicultural perspectives.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and self-reflection, demonstrating the capacity for empathy and self-disclosure.

• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance to facilitate in-office sessions as required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or experience in areas such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, and perinatal mental health.

• Proficiency in using various software, including electronic health records and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience working within an insurance panel as an in-network provider.
