Staff Accountant

Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Accountancy is required. Experience with General Ledger accounting is required. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial accounting principles. Proficient in MS Office and Excel. Primary Duties/Responsibilities Assist in all accounting activities, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate accounting tasks. Maintain the general ledger through posting transactions and entries. Implement and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP. Ensure accuracy and compliance in reviewing financial transactions and statements. Conduct general ledger maintenance and aid with month‑end closing. Assist with the completion of month‑end, annual budget, and year‑end audits. Adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet deadlines, even in demanding situations. Perform other duties as assigned.
