HR Manager
Key Responsibilities

Serve as a key HR leader and strategic partner, overseeing the full employee lifecycle and day-to-day HR function.
Partner with leadership and managers to align HR initiatives, workforce strategies, and policies with business objectives.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations, performance management, policies, and HR-related matters.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while proactively identifying and mitigating risk.
Lead and support employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective actions, performance concerns, and terminations.
Ensure consistent application of company policies, procedures, documentation, and performance management practices.
Oversee HR operations and ensure accurate and timely execution of employee transactions, records, reporting, and HR processes.
Maintain HRIS data integrity and oversee employee records, audits, reporting, and other HR information.
Track and analyze HR metrics, including turnover, absenteeism, employee trends, and other workforce data, to identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with leadership on recruiting, interviewing, and hiring initiatives as needed.
Support and advise managers and leadership on workforce planning, employee development, and organizational needs.
Conduct and/or oversee exit interview processes and analyze trends to identify opportunities to improve retention.
Represent the organization in personnel-related matters, including investigations, hearings, and other employment-related proceedings as needed.
Provide coaching, direction, and accountability to HR team members while identifying opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiency.
Maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.
Prepare and monitor HR-related budgets, reports, and recommendations as needed.
Perform other HR-related duties and responsibilities based on organizational needs.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
5+ years of progressive HR experience with strong knowledge across employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and talent acquisition.
Experience serving as an HR partner to managers and leadership in a hands-on, generalist capacity.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements; multi-state experience preferred.
Experience working with HRIS and other HR/operational systems.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with HR data, reporting, audits, and metrics; advanced Excel skills preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence and advise leaders at all levels.
Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, particularly when handling sensitive employee relations matters.
Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
