What You'll Be Doing Serve as a high‑energy, positive team member who helps members achieve fitness goals and build confidence in equipment use. Run the Planet Fitness group fitness program View email address on click.appcast.io and design simple workout programs for all ages and skill levels. Ensure equipment is maintained and ready for member use, handling minor repairs. Keep the club and equipment clean to meet member expectations. Design individualized workout plans that match member fitness levels. Recruit and motivate new and current members to join fitness classes. Promote safety, monitor gym policies, and maintain a judgement‑free environment. Lead by example with a commitment to self‑improvement and personal growth. Qualifications Current national training certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA, ACSM, NSCA). Knowledge of fitness equipment and ability to demonstrate proper use. 1–3 years of experience in a related health and wellness field. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. Studies in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or an associated field. Strong understanding of physical demands such as standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and handling hazardous chemicals. Reliability and on‑time dependability. English language proficiency (speaking, understanding, reading, and writing). Bilingual Spanish helpful. Passion for helping others. Additional Information Schedule will vary; shifts may include any hours of operation, weekends, and holidays. Occasional assistance with check‑in, tours, member enrollment, and other club responsibilities at the welcome desk.
